Hermione was always my favourite character in both the books and the movies.
I actually think she had alot more depth and evolution as both a literary and visual character, than Harry Potter himself, who, although very good in both books and movies, I actually preferred him better in the books.
The movies made him become too antsy and self-pitying, if that makes sense?
